ScanTheLink uses a consent-first setup. Necessary storage is always on because the service cannot work securely without it. Optional analytics and marketing storage are off until you allow them.
Necessary
Required for magic-link sessions, admin/session security, CSRF protection, scan claiming, rate limiting, abuse prevention, local scan handoff, and remembering your privacy choices.
Analytics
Optional. When enabled, product analytics events may be sent to the ScanTheLink backend, and Plausible plus Google Analytics 4 may load for aggregate product analytics.
Marketing
Optional and currently inactive. This category is reserved for future campaigns. No marketing pixels or advertising cookies are active right now. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this category stays off.
